b. Information from Financial Institutions
When you choose to link your financial accounts, we use Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to securely connect your bank and retrieve financial information.
Through Plaid, we may access:
Account balances
Transaction data (amount, date, merchant, category, etc.)
We never have access to or store your bank credentials. Those are handled securely by Plaid.
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that your personal and financial information will be transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid according to the Plaid Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
Display transactions and daily balances
Deliver personalized financial insights
Assist with transaction categorization
Enable chat-based assistance and support

We also use AI large language models (LLMs) to help provide insights, customer chat, and transaction categorization. These models may process your data temporarily to generate responses or insights but we do not train any AI models on customer data and chats.

With service providers who help us operate and maintain the platform (e.g., Plaid, analytics tools, AI service providers). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality and data security obligations.

If you unlink your bank accounts, delete your account, or cease using our platform, we will delete associated financial and personal data within a reasonable time period.

Bips may use AI LLMs to assist in generating financial insights, analyzing transactions, and supporting chat interactions.
We are committed to transparency and privacy in how AI is used:
We do not disclose customer chats publicly.
We do not use your conversations to train machine learning models.
AI interactions are used solely to deliver contextual insights and help you understand your financial data.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from children.
